"Io non ho paura" by Niccolò Ammaniti is a psychological thriller set in a rural village in Southern Italy during the summer of 1978. Nine-year-old Michele discovers a kidnapped boy, Filippo, hidden in a hole and secretly tries to help him. When Michele realizes his own father is involved in the crime, he must choose between family loyalty and doing what’s right.
A powerful coming-of-age story about innocence, courage, and moral conflict, later adapted into a successful 2003 film directed by Gabriele Salvatores.

This class is for those who are learning Italian and want to practise reading, listening and speaking.
Every month we choose a novel, read a few chapters and then meet to discuss them in Italian, in a relaxed atmosphere. In four meetings we explore the story, discover new words and help each other to understand the text better - but also ourselves through what we read.
You don't need perfect readings or great speeches: all you need is the will to be there, to participate and to be carried away by the language.

📚 Recommended level: B2 or above (be ready to follow the story and join the conversation.)
🕑 Duration: 60 minutes per session

1️⃣ How can I choose my preferred day and time?
Once you’ve purchased access, you’ll receive an email asking you to indicate your preferred day and time. We always try to organise small groups based on the availability of participants..
2️⃣ How can I pay for the course?
Payment can be made via PayPal or credit/debit card. We’ll send you all the details once your participation is confirmed.
3️⃣ What if there are no spots left?
If the group is full, you’ll be placed on a waiting list and given priority for the next session.
4️⃣ Can I get a refund if something unexpected happens?
Yes, you can cancel and request a refund up to 6 days before the course starts. Please note: any transaction fees are non-refundable.
5️⃣ What if I miss a meeting?
No worries! All meetings are recorded, so you’ll be able to watch them whenever you have time.
